HAMMERHEAD GYM'S SMS OPT-IN POLICY

Purpose

This SMS Opt-In Policy outlines how Hammerhead Gym collects, uses, and manages consent for sending text messages (SMS) to our members and prospective members for communication purposes.

Scope

This policy applies to all individuals who provide their phone numbers to Hammerhead Gym for receiving SMS communications, including but not limited to promotions, class updates, membership information, and gym-related announcements.

Opt-In Process

Voluntary Consent: Hammerhead Gym will only send SMS messages to individuals who have explicitly opted in to receive them. Consent is obtained through:
- Signing up via our website, mobile app, or in-person registration forms where an opt-in checkbox or agreement is clearly provided.
- Texting a keyword (e.g., "JOINHH") to a designated shortcode or phone number to initiate subscription.
Clear Disclosure: Before opting in, individuals will be informed:
- That they are agreeing to receive SMS messages from Hammerhead Gym.
- The types of messages they may receive (e.g., promotional offers, class schedules, reminders).
- That message and data rates may apply, as determined by their mobile carrier.
- How to opt out of receiving messages (e.g., texting "STOP" to unsubscribe).
Double Opt-In (where applicable): For certain campaigns, a confirmation message will be sent to verify the individual’s consent before regular SMS communications begin.

Message Content

Hammerhead Gym may send SMS messages related to:

Promotions and special offers (e.g., discounts on memberships or personal training).
Class schedules, cancellations, or updates.
Membership renewals, payment reminders, or account updates.
Event invitations or gym news.
Health and fitness tips or motivational content.

Messages will be concise, relevant, and sent at reasonable times to avoid inconvenience.

Frequency

Hammerhead Gym will limit the frequency of SMS messages to ensure they are not excessive. Typically, members can expect no more than 2-5 messages per week, depending on the opted-in services or campaigns.

Opt-Out Process

Individuals can opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

Replying "STOP" to any SMS message received from Hammerhead Gym.
Contacting our customer service team via email (support@hammerheadgymfmb.com) or phone (239-955-3755).
Updating their communication preferences through the Hammerhead Gym website or mobile app.

Upon opting out, individuals will receive a final confirmation message stating they have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless they opt in again.

Data Privacy and Security

Collection: Phone numbers collected for SMS communications will be stored securely and used solely for the purposes outlined in this policy.
